Questions about domains
How do I register a domain name?
Type the name you want in the search box. If it is available, choose Register and follow the steps to order and pay.
How do I choose a good domain name?
Keep it short, easy to spell and easy to say. Avoid hyphens and numbers, and try to include a word that describes your business or brand.
Which extension should I pick?
Use an extension your visitors expect: .ng or .com.ng for a Nigerian audience, .com for a global one. You can register several extensions to protect your brand.
Can I use a domain without hosting?
Yes. You can register a domain first and point it to hosting later from your client area.
Will I be reminded before my domain expires?
Renewal reminders are emailed before the due date, and you can renew from your client area at any time.
